PURPLE CLOTH
A purple robe was placed upon Jesus in John 19:2 and Mark 15:14. Whenever the Old Testament tabernacle altar of sacrifice was moved, a purple cloth was spread over it (Numbers 4:13).

Jeremiah 3:4 My Father, You are the guide of my youth.
Isaiah 63:16 You, O Lord, are our Father, our Redeemer from Everlasting is Your name.
Isaiah 64:8 But now, O Lord, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You our potter, and all we are the work of Your hand.
EXODUS 24
I discovered this in Exodus recently, one of those passages that we read over quickly, not realizing the significance. What a blessing, they were allowed to see a glimpse of God:
Then Moses went up with Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and they saw the God of Israel; and under His feet there appeared to be a pavement of sapphire, as clear as the sky itself. Yet He did not stretch out His hand against the nobles of the sons of Israel; and they saw God, and they ate and drank.
